Terms & Conditions

Kindly read the terms and conditions of ‘Edify Tutorial’ to avoid misunderstanding or a needlessly unpleasant scenario, at any later stage. We sincerely believe that you must go through it thoroughly, understand and clarify the doubts, before registering with us. It is to be done at the onset of the professional relationship and read along with the ‘Disclaimer’ section. It is in everybody’s interest and vitally important for the tutor and the student / parent.

For the Parents/Students

Edify Tutorial’ levies a onetime, non-refundable *(Conditions apply) fee from the parents for its services.
Registered parents/students availing ‘Edify Tutorialbs services should mandatorily ask for a copy of the ID & Address proof from the personal tutor chosen by them.
The parents / students need to cross verify the same with bEdify Tutorialb by writing into us at info@edifytutorial.com at the earliest. They are also free to run a discreet background check on the tutor and ask for references.
‘Edify Tutorialb is not responsible for any unforeseen, intentional or unintentional accidental damage caused by the tutor(s) to any living or non-living entity in the house of the parent / student.
If you dislike the services offered by the current tutor, kindly care to inform ‘Edify Tutorial’ at the earliest. We can find a replacement for you as soon as possible.
‘Edify Tutorial’ is confident of assigning a new tutor as requested or find the replacement for a tutor within a minimum 3-4 working days from the registration / replacement request. However, in certain cases it may take a few days more or less and hence the number of days mentioned above is not to be misconstrued as a guarantee.
If a registered parent / student are not satisfied with the first tutor provided by Edify Tutorial’, the parent has the choice to opt for 02 (two) free replacements without paying additional charge to Edify Tutorial’.
If a registered parent / student wants to discontinue the services of a tutor after selecting him / her for the assignment, they need to pay the tutor for his / her services utilised and give him / her at least 15 days notice and pay the due for that period.
If a registered parent / student are not satisfied with the quality of tutors, even after availing the services of the 02 replacement tutors, then they can write into ‘Edify Tutorial’ and request for a refund. In the case of such an event taking place, ‘Edify Tutorial’ reserves the right to investigate the matter and refund the registration amount to the parent after deducting the administrative charges.
Registered parents / students are requested not make any advance payment to the tutors without checking and taking a written permission from ‘Edify Tutorial’. We do not take the responsibility of any lump sum advance / contract payment made to the tutors without our prior knowledge and permission.
The minimum hourly / weekly / fortnightly / monthly rate for a tutor’s services will vary as per region / state / city / location and he tutor’s qualification / experience, reputation etc. The registered parent/student should directly handle the fee negotiations with the tutor, but they are always welcome to take ‘Edify Tutorialbs suggestions / inputs before finalizing the fees.
‘Edify Tutorial’ does not guarantee tutor or tuition quality, as it’s a very subjective matter.
‘Edify Tutorial’ services are about providing tuition at home. It also includes the tuition services provided by our very senior / reputed teachers from their respective homes.

For The Tutors

· ‘Edify Tutorial’ reserves the right to carry out both regular and random discreet background/reference checks, as part of its routine operating procedure, without giving any justification to the tutor or anybody else.

· The registered parents have the right to ask for your id & address proof along with photograph(s) if their building/society entry norms require it. They also have the right to ask for it from a tutor to double check with ‘Edify Tutorial’.

· ‘Edify Tutorial’ is not responsible for any unforeseen, intentional or unintentional accidental damage caused by the tutor(s) to any living or non-living entity in the house of the parent/student.

· ‘Edify Tutorial’, is also not responsible for any behavioral misconduct by the student or their house members including the support staff employed by the student or his / her parents. However, incidents of misbehavior, harassment if any, should be reported to ‘Edify Tutorial’, at the earliest possible

· Female home tutors should take enough care and make an intuitive decision before taking up an assignment to avoid any kind of future embarrassing scenarios. Edify Tutorial’ cannot be held responsible for any such unforeseen and unfortunate event if any.

· If a registered parent/student are not satisfied with the first tutor provided by Edify Tutorialb, the parent has the choice to opt for 02 (two) replacements

· If the registered tutor wants to discontinue an assignment / professional association with one of our registered students/parents then he/she needs to give an adequate notice of a minimum 30 days to the parents and keep by Edify Tutorial’ updated.

· A registered tutor’s performance as a quality tutor will be the sole criterion for their future association with us. bEdify Tutorial’ will try to offer maximum three opportunities to a tutor in 12 months time to prove his/her skills as a deserving tutor. *Conditions apply
